I would have posted this to the Dekalog V thread, but it's locked at the moment.

Anyway, I've been too busy to participate in these discussions, but I'm just wondering if you'll be taking A Short Film About Killing into consideration when you discuss Dekalog V, and if you'll be taking A Short Film About Love into consideration when you discuss Dekalog VI. Both of these films are basically longer versions of the short films in question, though in the case of Love/VI at least, I believe some significant changes are made to the actual story, too.

FWIW, Lloyd Baugh devotes an interesting chapter to the question of whether Christ-figure elements can be seen in either version of that story.

Probably not. Speaking for myself, I don't know if any of us have access to them, as they are not available at present in Region 1 DVD. I am unsure whether they are available locally on VHS.

I'm anxious to see them, but I don't anticipate getting a region-free player and the discs within the next week or two. Next few months, maybe.
