3 actors (Ryan Reynolds, Hope Davis, Melissa McCarthy) play 3 roles in what amount to e shorts, but in the end we discover it is all one experience. Written and directed by John August.

Part 1 has a Twilight Zone feel to it; 2 and 3 individually don't have the feel, but overall there is some mindbinding. There are certain little things that connect the various parts. And there is a small interact between 2 and 3 that reveals what's going on. It twists like the switchbacks on a mountain road. (I wonder, does Mt. Olympus have a road to the top?)

It's really hard to talk about the films without spoilers. But it creates its own metaphysics and gets you to buy in. There are some flaws, I think, in the structure that leave you saying, "wait a minute!" that maybe more work could have polished out, but overall, it was a nice way to spend the afternoon.

As I worked on my review, I concluded that this has a heavy Hindu flavoring with the G characters as Brahma (creator), the M characters as Vishnu (sustainer), and the S characters as Shiva (destroyer).
