Excellent film. Perhaps a touch sentimental at points, but great study of father/son relationship and how we so often get it wrong as we search for our own identities and strive to love our children into their own lives.

As I look through my notes, I have some questions that (since it appears I'm the only one to see it so far) you can't help me with now, but perhaps you'll think about them after you've seen it. One doesn't involve spoilers, the other does.

1. What do you make of all the mirror shots? Many are in 3 way mirror. One is very strange with an image of Blake that seems to be floating in the corner of the screen next to the Blake we see. Is it because this is such a reflective piece or is the director just trying to show off his artistry?

2. What about his father's pacemaker? Why does he take it to show to Sandra?
