Saw this tonight. Agreeing with some of the reviews I've read, there doesn't seem to be anything original in this. Judy Greer made me laugh. Katherine Heigl and James Marsden really didn't seem all that believeable as far as chemistry goes and all the actors seem to uninteresting and saying their lines by rote. The one thing I did find interesting about the movie was how I interpreted the dresses she kept in her closet. They seem to stand for different stages in Jane's life--some positive, some negative of which it was time to take them out put them in garbage bags and move on (though in the end she doesn't throw them out but rather uses them in her own wedding which then seemed to be reminders of days gone by).

Girlfriend wanted to see this one and up until the final act it was not as bad as I thought it'd be, but then it really became annoying ... characters doing things out of line with how they were presented earlier, etc, etc, etc. Judy Grier was funny at times, but that role was the epitome of making a character solely for the purpose of inputting witty lines here and there.

The "Bennie and the Jets" part seemed so overwrought as well ..
