Just one hour ago, I discovered the painting of Orit Arfa, who lives and works in Israel.

I am still coming to grips with her style and treatment of Biblical themes, but it is very similar to what I once set out (and failed) to do. And I know this much about her painting: I love it!!

Thanks for sharing. I like the work. Reminiscent of David Hockney as far as the painting technique. I always appreciate paintings of biblical stories done in a contemporary style. I also like the fact that she doesn't shy away from some of the tough stories.

Too bad it takes her so long to finish a painting. I would like to see more work.
