There's a very brief bowling alley in AMERICAN GANGSTER, but it's not about love.
For some reason the only other film that comes to mind is Teen Wolf, in which Michael J. Fox cheers his girlfriend's butt-wiggling as she gets up to bowl. I haven't seen that film in over 20 years, so Lord only knows why that bit has stuck with me. And you'd think there would be some OTHER films that fit this category in the intervening decades ...
I would think The Martian Child might qualify and make it four this this year.
Just for the record, There Will Be Blood does NOT qualify for this list.
