Okay, I promised a young reader I'd ask y'all if anyone has seen this one. She's a big fan of Jonathan Jackson, who is supposed to be a Christian, and she's disappointed that he agreed to do a Dirty Dancing sequel/prequel/remake/tie-in/whatever. And I told her the film wasn't high on my list but I would ask if anyone had seen it and had any comment.
So?

Never saw the original. Doubt I'll see the sequel.

Never saw the original? Never saw the original??!
I doubt that i'll see the sequel either, but Peter -- YOU NEVER SAW THE ORIGINAL??
FWIW, Roeper called the leading actress "wooden" and said that both she and the leading male-guy (don't know his name) needed more dance lessons.

Nope. Did buy both soundtracks, though.
I've never seen Pretty Woman, either.

Congrats Peter. Those two films are OK films. Actually, Hector Elizondo in Pretty Woman is for the ages, but be that as it may, if they don't interest you, your life will not be blighted. I sympathise as I am ambivalent on all of the LOTR films even though "we" own two so far.
