Vote...
David Smedberg
So far, we have six votes for Rataouille as deserving, and one for Persepolis, out of seven votes. Now, six of the seven votes have seen Ratatouille. So, everyone who has seen it thinks Ratatouille deserves to win.

My next question is: who hasn't seen Ratatouille? You don't know what you're missing . . .

HUGE surprise: Ratatouille. (Has a Pixar film ever failed to take the Oscar?)

Both Cars and Monster's Inc. did fail to take this award (defeated by, respectively, Happy Feet and Shrek) -- which makes Pixar 3 for 5 in the years when they had an eligible picture (and Brad Bird is 2 for 2, of course).

Methinks you mean Happy Feet?
