I saw these at the Landmark theater, which always distributes the Oscar-nominated short movies in a package deal.

None of them really appealed to me, which was disappointing. It's pretty clear that the race is between Peter and the Wolf and Even Pigeons go to Heaven. Madam Tutli-Putli was unexpectedly bizarre and derivative. It's hard for me to remember any animated short which has worked harder, to less effect, than My Love. And it's embarrasing that I Met the Walrus even got nominated.

I found the art in My Love quite beautiful. Could follow story fairly well, but subtitles might have moved it up my list in preference.
