It opens April 7.

It's rated PG-13 for "some sexual references, crude humor and brief drug material."

And the Canadian publicist just sent an e-mail to my editor at the Christian paper, but not to me (I guess I'm on the "secular" list), inviting us to a press screening and stating: "for those that use films as a method of conversation with congregation and youth - we feel they would appreciate the family values this film promotes. . . . if you feel that you know of any other pastors/community leaders that would be interested in attending, pls. extend this invite."

So ... anyone know anything about this film?

Is it as promising as they say it is, or is this just another Fighting Temptations?

Ah, I saw an ad for this the other day. It does indeed look like another Fighting Temptation type film.

Oh, great. Now I find out that the press screening for this film coincides with the press screenings for Seducing Dr. Lewis (Sundance award winner, top-grossing Quebec film of 2003, Genie Award front-runner) and Dogville (needs no introduction).
