I've created a new forum for those who would like to discuss using film within a church / ministry context, something very close to my heart.

Feel free to share your ideas, materials, experiences, lessons learned, and anything else that you think might be of use to others in this area.

If Doug's about, it would be great if he posted his "How to run a film discussion group" notes on this forum. I've found them helpful, and I'm sure others would.

Would like to know when the top 100 of 2007 spiritually significant films be open for recommendation and votation. Am looking forward to it. It helps me for my pastoral work in the school and various group conferences.

Hi. New member here. I'm teaching a Sunday School class on 1 Thess. 1. I'd like to focus on a theme of either good reputation (what Paul is hearing about the faith of the Thess. church) or making someone proud (as in giving pride to a mentor by doing well). Any film clips come to mind?
