Phil Donahue and Ellen Spiro will be on Bill Moyer's Journal this week. The website has a trailer for the film. Don't know if Tomas Young will be on as well. That's the interview that would be much more interesting.

It's opened in KC and Austin. Hits DC 4/4 and NY 4/9, and very slow roll out around rest of country. My review is timed to coincide with DC opening.

Excellent documentary. Although Donahue is the name behind the film (and had a significant role), Ellen Spiro did amazing work imbedding herself in this family. She is the one who tells Tomas's story. Donahue tells the congressional story. Both blend together well.

I saw this in January and it has grown in my esteem through the months. Wrote my review soon after Palm Springs festival and now that the film's coming out, the review is too.
