I've written a piece that I think some of you may find interesting. You can find it by going to The Point and clicking on "C. S. Lewis at the Movies." I'm giving you the link via blog, rather than the direct link, because the blog post has a comment section where you're welcome to post your reaction to the piece if you'd like. There may be debates galore in there, but I don't know; sometimes the blog posts that I think are going to attract the most attention turn out to attract the least.

Hope this was the right forum for this. I figured "Film Criticism" was probably right, but if not, will someone please move it? Thanks.

FWIW, the thread on Facing the Giants is here. If we're discussing a film, comments generally go in the thread devoted to that film. But if we're discussing the nature of film criticism, then that's what this forum is for. Since this particular post concerns Lewis's An Experiment in Criticism ... I'm not sure which forum it would "belong" in. Is Facing the Giants a test case for applying Lewis's ideas? Or are Lewis's ideas a lens through which to understand Facing the Giants? I'm fence-sitting. smile.gif

Darn, I KNEW I'd blow it again. sad.gif If someone wants to combine the threads, I'd be grateful.
