Somerset votes for faith-based 'Article'
Political docu "Article VI: Faith, Politics, America," which explores the hot-button topic of faith-based politics, will screen in more than 200 markets this fall in advance of the presidential election.
Acquired by Somerset Films, docu examines the much-debated issue of the role of religion in contemporary politics. Church and state are dissected through discussions with historians, religious leaders, politicos and citizens alike. Newcomer Bryan Hall, who shares helmer duties with Jack Donaldson, conducts the interviews. . . .
Film, which cost $1 million to make, will see a limited September release in New York, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., and then expand to Boston, Seattle, Dallas, Atlanta and other locales. . . .
