Here is the grid, with pilot dates.

Sigh. Goodbye Aliens in America, Back to You, Journeyman.

No Reaper, Battlestar Galactica, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Lost until 2009.

I do kind of want to watch that new Crusoe show...it definitely takes cues from the Pirates movies, which may not be a bad thing.

I won't miss Journeyman, which I found to have tedious plotting and a not-particularly-attractive leading man in Kevin McKidd, but I am looking forward to the return of Life--if they can maintain its tone and character development as well as the balance of individual episodes and long-range narrative arc. I'm also curious as to what the Heroes will be doing.

New shows expected in 2009 not listed here: Dollhouse, starring Eliza Dushku, and Castle, starring Nathan Fillion with cameos by some well-known mystery/suspense authors.

Wow -- I had the exact opposite reaction. I saw Life once, and that was enough.

It may be worth noting that Castle was also written by Fillion. Huzzah!
