: I saw a preview for Gavin O'Connor's cop drama
Pride and Glory a long time ago, and now all of a sudden it's coming to theaters at the end of the month (according to IMDB). Is this a good sign?
Jeffrey Wells has been following this saga at his blog for a while. Apparently the movie was even delayed to 2009 at one point -- possibly because of the various troubles at New Line Cinema over the past year or two. So the fact that it's being released THIS year and not NEXT year could be interpreted as a good sign.

: Two brothers in the NYPD, on opposite sides of the law? Sounds like
We Own the Night 2: We Still Own the Night.
I haven't seen WOtN, but P&G is a little more complicated than that. Edward Norton and Noah Emmerich play brothers, and Colin Farrell plays the guy married to their sister, and all three of them are cops, and it's not clear at first who is on the right side, who is on the wrong side, and/or who is sitting on the fence. (Add Jon Voight to the mix as the father of the two brothers and the sister; he, too, is a cop.)
