I was surfing through the youtubes looking for some RL Burnside...I received a transmission from space and/or Texas.... it sounded like...this

and I thought to myself, those guys are committed. Then I found this. So I looked some more and this one made me go look at internets shopping central and I found this:
The Old Power of Howling Wolf, February 12, 2007 By Rev KM Williams "revkmwilliams" (dallas, tx United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: Train Keeps A' Rollin (Audio CD) On October 10,2003,Trainreck carved out their own piece of music history. While playing a street gig in downtown Clarksdale. MS the day before; They were heard by Rockabilly/Blues artist James Mathus. He invited them up to his "new" studio in the old historic WROX broardcast studio to record. With the Old School Attack of Their Father's Fathers, Trainreck teased propadation of Ages current and classic with their songs. Their steady "Stomp Stride" commingles with multidimensional occupation of rhythm, washboard, snare & kick drums and gutbucket Texas/Mississippi Country Blues Guitar tones and Vocals of Lightnin Hopkins, RL Burnside, John Lee Hooker & Blind Willie Johnson, they built the foundation for this recording. Dump in a Quart of Soul, some fists full of attitude, a few tracks recorded out of Washboard's Garage, any ol'amplifer... and you have The Amazing Trainreck!!!! The amazing trainreck consists of KM Williams - Guitars,Vocals & Harmonica; Washboard Jackson - Traps,(washboard, snare, stomp cymbals, foot cannon). Trainreck is a 2 man Powerhouse Boogie Duo that carries the Old Power of Howling Wolf's recordings, yet boogies and jukes like Contemporary Hill Country Blues aka R.L. Burnside or Junior Kimbrough and carries the traditions of Texas Cotton Country Blues and Spirituals of Blind Lemon Jefferson and Blind Willie Johnson - John the Revelator.

How can you beat "commingles with multidemensional occupation of rhythm"? How? Anyone know anything about him?

Well, I listened and I don't think he measures up to any of the guys he's trying to compare himself to.

Andy has me hooked on Watermelon Slim,so, I've been listening to the Oklahoma blues. RL Burnside is the soundtrack for the Sopranos DVD commercial, which prompted me to go see what RL was on youtube. I saw the Rev? Williams in the clip in his bathroom and thought it was pretty good for a guy in his bathroom. Blind Willie Johnson is a tall step. I was struck by his commitment and the lack of irony in his delivery. He isn't approaching his music like an archivist.

I like the wildness of Skinny woman. These are grown men attacking a song.
I was thinking how much it would scare the neighbors to have a barbecue with those guys out on the lawn.

I was also struck by the fact that the only reviews on amazon were written by Mr Williams himself. And his prose is fantastic! I really have no idea what it means to "tease propadation of ages current and classic".

He isn't Howlin Wolf but I bet even Chester Burnette had days where that one was hard to muster and he was in competition with Muddy Waters.
