And yes, thank you, I'm very happy to hear this, because I never caught the BBC Northanger Abbey and I'm planning to give this collection to my friend Caroline, who's a big Jane Austen fan, since it will be available just in time for her birthday.

Is this the version with Robert Hardy as Pappa Tillney? I just watched that version and I must say it's the worst Austen adaptation I've ever seen. In fact, it's one of the worst costume dramas I've ever seen, period. Please say there's a better version out there somewhere! Bad wigs, bad clothes, campy acting, terrible music jarringly wrong in style, and it HAS to be a chopped down version for release as a feature instead of a mini, because it feels like it stops about halfway through the story then jumps to the last page (I turned the disc over to see if it was two-sided. It wasn't.)
I need to see Persuasion or "Pride-O" immediately to get the bad taste out of my mouth.
