I, just recently, read about Justin. From what I have read, this young man had an extensive knowledge of film and music and possessed a passionate desire to reach out to and show the life and troubles of middle-school children.

"Justin was an inspiring and creative force in the lives of all who knew him and profoundly impacted the lives of many people. After graduating from high school a year early, Justin pursued his passions of filmmaking, writing and art, and had already begun making his mark as a rising young filmmaker. Justin wrote, produced and acted in a short film entitled The Revenant"

The Revenant was selected as one of the winners of the 2003 Seattle International Film Festival, in the short film category and was directed by a teen, Justin Rima.

Has anyone seen or heard about this film. Maybe Jeffrey?

"Justin Michael Rima passed away of complications related to a lung transplant and went to be with the God he loved on December 31, 2003, at the University of Washington Medical Center. He was 18-years-old."

Justin was also finishing up his first book.

Parents don't want son's death to be end of story. Couple plan to finish young filmmaker's book

You know... I think that I actually met somebody who worked on this film. In fact, I think the guy lives next door to me. Now that I see the film is making news, I have a notion to go next door (for the first time ever), knock, and get to know these people.

What a pathetic opportunist and loser I am. sad.gif

We all need to be motivated. Some of us meet our neighbors because we need a saw smile.gif
