I (also) stumbled across a few, um, poor attempts to name seven films that capture:
  • pride
  • envy
  • gluttony
  • lust
  • anger
  • greed
  • sloth
What would you pick for each of these? I'm working on my list. Here is a site that discusses them...

I would have to vote The Big Lebowski as best "Sloth" picture.

Fair enough. I'll start off with the wonderful Emperor's New Groove for pride.

Super-Size Me!

for gluttony perhaps?
Clint M
Citizen Kane for pride,
Fight Club for anger,
About A Boy for sloth.

Too bad Kieslowski's dead. He could have gotten 14 films out of these two related threads.....
Diane
Alfie for lust.

The Magnificent Ambersons for pride (although Kane does rule this one).

Greed for, uh, greed.

East of Eden for envy.

mike_h
Ugetsu for greed and/or lust.
