Small town filmmaker Shane Ryan (of Lompoc, CA) has broken the record at the 7th Channel Islands Film Festival Sep 1-5, 2004 with a total of 6 films playing with his name stamped on it. The most films a single person has had in the history of the festival!
mentioned in detail on this page

On top of that, his film "Isolation" looks to be the only movie at the entire festival with more than one screening.

Shane will participate in a panel from 9am-12pm on Sat Sep 4.
The films "Isolation", "More than 15", "Yesterday" and "Poison Cure" will be screening at 1 pm Sat. "The Little Guy Kicks Ass" at 2pm Sun and "Isolation" and "Pinata" at 4pm Sun.

A couple of these films have screened at Flickerings in the past 2 years.

Congrats to the other filmmakers involved-Theresa Kyriaco, Jeremy Williams, Reid Ryan, Jason Freeman and the fabulous cinematographer Matthew DeJohn (of "Isolation").

Hmm. Never heard of this film festival.

Say, alterego... are you Shane Ryan?

Or are you his promoter?

Or his cousin?

How are you related to the film?

This is a board for conversation amongst individuals. Your screen name suggests you're here merely for promotional purposed. But if you're here to participate, well then... welcome!!

Hello again Jeffrey!

To those who didn't see the other thread, this is Shane Ryan (not Michael-cool.gif. Thought since these films played at flickerings and it's festival related it'd be ok to post, but if not, you got me, cause it's obviously as Jeffrey pointed out, PR as well. If you need to delete it I won't be offended.

This festival has been around a while though. My dad's film played at the 5th festival, I went as an audience member last year and this year I'm in it breaking records, kinda cool.
