We have a Whit Stillman thread, but I figured this film should have its own, especially since I nominated it for the top 100. This is a comedy about unexpected moments of grace (from unexpected sources) and the subtle ways we grow (or not) while celebrating and holding fast to the things one values, even when those things are unpopular or falling out of fashion. It's the sort of comedy that would be perfect for the list.
