    Halloween (2018)

Link to our thread for Rob Zombie's 2007 reboot. Normally, I would have just posted this in the thread linked above. But the names associated got my attention, so here we are. Is the world ready for a Halloween reboot from a couple of the guys behind Pineapple Express and Eastbound and Down? FWIW, here's a link to the announcement of the new reboot.
  2. Currently David Gordon Green is looking to direct. I feel like saying...wait, what? I like Green, well...I like some of his older stuff like All the Real Girls, and especially Undertow. And I will admit to finding Pineapple Express and The Sitter rather hilarious movies. So what's going to happen here, as I just don't see Gordon Green as a family movie kind of producer, so either it will be a much more southern gothic dark take on the stories a la Undertow, or it will be a crass bad joke filled comedy like Your Highness or The Sitter. Either take I'm not sure is really right for the story, which I think is best told exactly as it was told. 'twill be interesting to see how this turns out.

Thought I'd seen a thread for this before, but I couldn't find it now (not easy to search for, either). This trailer is from France, and they're apparently okay with PG-13 language in trailers. Via /Film
