  1. My Dinner with Werner

Okay, this project is likely right up the alley for most visitors to this forum. Maverick Moore, one of my friends, colleagues, and partners in crime is heading up this short film. He co-wrote the script and will be directing. Maverick is a fairly new professor in the Baylor Film and Digital Media Department, and he's also the Programming Director for my film festival: Deep in the Heart Film Festival (which I just realized I have yet to mention on this board). Please watch the teaser trailer for "My Dinner with Werner," and check out the film's campaign details on Indiegogo: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/my-dinner-with-werner-a-short-film-movie#/ Thanks all! 2. Queen of the Desert

Link to our thread on Lawrence of Arabia (1962), in which Faisal was played by Alec Guinness. - - - Werner Herzog Wants to Crown Naomi Watts Queen of the Desert If he’d simply made Aguirre: The Wrath of God and called it quits ... dayenu. But thankfully, even at 68, Werner Herzog is still at it: Vulture has learned that Herzog’s written a new drama called Queen of the Desert and is in serious discussions with Naomi Watts about starring. At the center of Queen is Gertrude Bell, a real-life British woman who was alternately a traveler, writer, archaeologist, explorer, cartographer, and political attaché for the British Empire at the dawn of the twentieth century. While only a commoner herself, Bell was nonetheless a kingmaker, helping found the modern states of Iraq and Jordan and installing their first rulers, King Abdullah and King Faisal. . . . 3. Into the Inferno

Werner Herzog is going to branch out by making a documentary about living in extreme conditions and the shadow of destruction:
  4. Werner Herzog's new documentary is about robots and artificial intelligence.
  5. Vernon God Little

AV Club: Russell Brand will be in it, too.
  6. Happy People: A Year in the Taiga

The trailer is currently on IMDB's front page: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GFiyU-E9R0 I also found this video that appears to be the beginning of the movie, and was uploaded over a year ago. IMDB lists it as a 2011 film. I wonder what the albino alligator will be in this one.
