Camp Cooking

Recommended Posts

Here's a side dish we like to make while camping. Cut up some baby red potatoes; add diced red onions, bell peppers, olive oil, herbes de Provence, balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper. Wrap it all up in a foil pouch and roast on grill or in campfire.

And there's nothin' like grilled corn on the cob.

Eggs, bacon, and tortillas are always great for a fresh-air breakfast. As a kid I remember them adding corned beef hash to the mix. Made a good breakfast taco.

I just did a Google search and found these suggestions.

Pancakes are a must.

Can't you just pack a few MREs?

"...the vivid crossing of borders between film and theology may save the film from the banality of cinema and festival business, and it may also save the church from the deep sleep of the habitual and the always known."
