Persona
Uuuu, waitasec. Another big spammer trend I just saw: All the spammers on this board were "born" on April 7th -- every last one of them! I suggest -- nay, mandate! -- that you ban all accounts with birthdates of April 7th. Dale, whose birthday is...hey, wait a minute... Dude if I'm still in the area on April 7 -- which I sincerely hope I'm NOT -- we are doing a double party. I will be 40, which means you owe me more presents than I owe you. M. Dale Prins
Spam PM from Lyagushkka. Edit: Another 143040 poster (with a join date after we had the disussion last time). If there's some way to set it up to immediately ban them upon registration -- there's *229* new ones since we discussed this, gosh, less than two weeks ago. Fun fact: There have been 241 new members since the last 143040 incident, meaning there were, at most, 12 legitimate new members during that time. Ratio of spam to actual: about 19:1. Greg Wolfe
Lyagushkka has been banned. Anna and I realize there are other issues that need to be attended to. The fact is that the board will be upgraded in two weeks so it's hard to know how much effort to invest in banning certain IPs, etc. before the upgrade. Thanks for your vigilance and patience. Persona
What is toxic porn? Is that like, porn made in Chernobyl or something? Why would anyone want to do that? Why would anyone want to purchase that? Total YACK Quote In an interstellar burst, I am back to save the Universe. Filmsweep by Persona. 2013 Film Journal. IlPersona. SDG
What is toxic porn? Is that like, porn made in Chernobyl or something? Why would anyone want to do that? Why would anyone want to purchase that? Total YACK Heh. To clarify, "toxic" and "porn" are parallel adjectives modifying "spam." That is, it is toxic spam because it is porn spam. "Toxic" does not here modify "porn" because that would be tautological (as opposed to merely redundant). All porn is by definition toxic, but not all spam is toxic. Some is merely annoying.
