The Arts & Faith 100: Spiritually Significant Films

May 5, 2004

Here it is!

Titles listed in blue are first round choices, appearing on the largest number of lists submitted by the first round panel (fourteen lists were received: results can be viewed at the end of the Round One thread). Titles listed in black are second round choices, selected by a weighted balloting process open to all Arts & Faith participants (thirty-five ballots were received: results can be viewed at the end of the Round Two thread). Titles listed in purple are third round choices, selected by our juries. Thanks Mike, Doug, Matt, Peter and Jeffrey!

This is just an "in house" posting. PLEASE DO NOT CIRCULATE THIS LIST UNTIL ALAN MAKES THE FORMAL ANNOUNCEMENT: he's going to open a special new section dedicated to these films, and issue a proper press release. We want to be the first ones to announce our list, obviously, and if it gets circulated it may end up posted elsewhere before we can do so. Thanks for your co-operation in this.

In a similar vein, please limit your conversation about the list to the Top 100 forum, which is a "members only" area at present.

Enough of that - here's your list!
