Nominations for the 2010 Top 100 List

Recommended Posts

Title: Bom yeoreum gaeul gyeoul geurigo bom (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall . . . and Spring)

Shouldn't the English title be "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring" That's what IMDb says.

Of course, that's it.

The deadline for nominations is January 30.

Let's really pick up the pace of nomination this week!!!

See the details for this round of the Top 100 Films here.

Are nominations still open? I still feel like we are missing a large chunk of A&Fy (not sure how to spell that) films.

I agree, although I'm sorry to say I don't have much time to think it through until this weekend. Thanks, Michael, for the long list you added here. There are several essential titles there. I'm starting to get excited about this. Voting is going to be brutal.

It is, and I like how we are nominating standard essentials and a lot of more personal choices.

Are there really that many that are missing, esp since the combined lists of 04-08 are automatically entered?

Great call on Three Burials, Ron. I thought I had already nominated that title, but no, that must've been some other poll (Top 10 of the Decade, I think). Glad (and relieved) to see it here.

As for missing participants, I myself was dinged by a board manager (hope I'm not betraying any confidences here) about having not participated. It was all very polite, and concluded by encouraging me to get involved with the nomination process before it closes.

It worked. I think that I thought I was getting in just under the wire by nominating some films last weekend, but there's still time.

I think so, yes. There are many even just from 08 and 09 that should be nominated, as well as a hefty chunk of films that were nominated for those lists and never made it on, but really should be reconsidered.

Stef, this one's for you.

You'll appreciate that LOL'd even before I saw the note.

I know there was a real thread for this, I know it but once again I can't find it. That's twice in two days I'm left scratching my head at an absentee thread.
