Can we have a dedicated thread for this?

The Movie City News home page has a list of news links. Right now, we're the top link, thanks to Ray Pride. We'll get pushed down as other links are added. I don't know how to capture the link's appearance on the site, so if you want to see it there, don't procrastinate.

I guess I could automate it, but throughout the day I've just been refreshing under the "Latest" option in the Google search options menu and seeing what's been popping up.

Pakistan Christian TV.

Buddha Rocks by way of Filmwell.

Buzz Tracker by way of Examiner.com from above.

Standard Newswire.

Jesucristo en el Cine.

I plugged the list on the Plugged In blog and--wait for it--Ted Baehr's blog (both comments are currently awaiting moderation).

Toro Magazine:

The list contains some modern favorites (A Serious Man, The New World), bona-fide classics (It’s a Wonderful Life, Seventh Seal), inexplicable choices (Punch-Drunk Love is highly spiritual? Now you’re just reaching), and the best movies you’ve never seen (Sunrise, My Life to Live, Stalker), so hop on over. Or just watch Beerfest again, either way.

The Boston Phoenix has a great capsule review and then mentions us again here:

Here's one reason why organized religion bugs me. Here you have one of cinema's most spiritual filmmakers, Jafar Panahi, whose films "Crimson Gold" or "The Circle" could easily have made the Arts & Faith people's top 100 list, and he's "detained" by the tyrannical forces of a so-called theocratic government...

Thanks, I didn't know that site existed, and it doesn't look like he knows me. If only it weren't in Spanish/Portuguese.

Moviefone/Inside Movies:

I applaud the Arts & Faith members who recognize that faith and culture need not be mutually exclusive. Even if you're not a a Christian, their list is Netflix-queue worthy, if only to catch up on some classic foreign films that will make you think about life, beauty and art -- a worthy endeavor for any movie fan.
