Review Haiku

I haven't time to go through the thread and see if this has been done:

Black sheep returns home,

Disrupting his sibling's life;

Boy, are they messed up...

You Can Count on Me

Correct.

Cast aside duties,

And see the world for one day -

But never look back.

Couldn't be Wings of Desire, could it?

Bingo. One of my favourite feel-good films, even if the ending is a downer.

I don't think this was written in haiku form on purpose, but it works perfectly....

You're an errand boy,

sent here by grocery clerks,

to collect a bill.

Been a while since anyone has posted one of these, and still no winner for the one above...

To save the village,

Mifune had to join up.

Six were not enough.

I was thinking just the other day that we should revive this.

Seven Samurai. The other one is Apocalypse Now.

My turn:

High school can be rough
With mean girls and lunchtime polls,
Que sera sera.

Suicide destroys
A knight's joy, and the curse lasts
'Til he finds his bride.

Will she be upstaged?
Or will she be perfect as
Mommy knows she is?

Why'd they continue?
The elephant in the room
Cannot answer that.

Pastel neighborhood
Can't welcome stranger, but one
Dances in the snow.

There is a common thread to all of these, including the one in my previous post.

Hm, that same thread applies to this unanswered one from three years ago.

I'll take a stab at a few of these.  I'll start with what seems the easiest....

A content couple
Has unwanted guests, but they
Can't say it three times.

Beetlejuice

Will she be upstaged?
Or will she be perfect as
Mommy knows she is?

Black Swan?

Suicide destroys
A knight's joy, and the curse lasts
'Til he finds his bride.

Kingdom of Heaven?

Pastel neighborhood
Can't welcome stranger, but one
Dances in the snow.

Edward Scissorhands

I'm not too sure about the other two you've posted.

Kingdom of Heaven is not correct; the other three are. Remember: all six movies have something in common.

I'm blanking on what the not-Kingdom-of-Heaven would be, but I'm guessing the common thread is Winona Ryder.

Oh, wait, duh: Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Still no winner on this one ^^^ (and I thought it would be easy).

Here's another to ponder (this one I think will be tough, but watch it get guessed right off the bat)...

Though I look like him,

I'm not Indiana Jones.

My mettle's tougher.

I don't know why, but I thought someone had answered it. Apocalypse Now.

EDIT: Wait, I said that last year. Is it something else?

The Fugitive?

How about this one?

We are the breeders
Of war; we carry it like
Syphilis inside.

It is Apocalypse Now.  Somehow I read the Seven Samurai answer, and skipped the Apocalypse Now answer.

And to answer another of yours that has slipped by...

Heathers?

No, not The Fugitive.  Like I said, this one will be tough, but everything needed to solve it is in there.  I'll drop some more clues later.

Yes! I was surprised no one got that last time around.

Any guesses for the one I just posted? Like your Apocalypse Now haiku, it is a quote from the movie, although I had to tweak the syllables slightly.

If it's not from Mad Max: Fury Road, that haiku certainly could work for it.
