May he rest in peace.

This will always be my favorite of all his performances. (NSFW clip)

I haven't seen Ed Wood since it first came out (in fact, I hadn't seen this scene again until just now), but "Let's shoot this fucker!" is a line I've quoted often while trying to psyche myself into getting some job or other done.

Landau was also *fantastic* as the biblical patriarch Jacob in the Emmy-winning 1995 miniseries Joseph. (He also played Abraham in a 2000 production called In the Beginning.)

Yes, in the future, should I have occasion to post one of those "tell me something that reveals your age without stating it," I'm going to say, "To me, Martin Landau will always be Rollin Hand of Mission Impossible. Although, TBH, I don't think I ever knew his character's name at the time. And of course, he's Juliet Landau's father.

Juliet who? (Meaning no disrespect. I've just never heard of her.)

She does a lot of voice work, but Buffy the Vampire fans know Juliet Landau as the vampire Drusilla.  She also appeared in Ed Wood, playing actress Loretta King in scenes depicting the production of Wood's film Bride of the Monster. Strangely, I don't think Juliet appears onscreen with her dad, although the actors King and Lugosi share quite a bit of screen time in the Wood film.

As John Drew explained. You can also see, from the photo on her website, that she's Barbara Bain's daughter as well.
