I would toss in a couple from last year (2018) such as:  Minding the Gap (documentary), Eighth Grade, and Leave No Trace.

Other movies I would consider are:  Field of Dreams, To Kill A Mockingbird, City of God, and The Edge of Seventeen.

Second Leave No Trace.....would second Eighth Grade as well but I feel like it's 80% growing up and 20% growing older (the Dad narrative). Leave No Trace's growing older strand is more prominent....but what a pair of father -daughterfilms!
