Well, this is a vast improvement.

For years, the National Catholic Register's online presence has been a problem waiting to be solved. The previous incarnation of the site was barely adequate at best, and the bare-bones interim site they put up saying "This website is under construction" had to be out there for more than a year (maybe much more).

Now at last NCRegister.com is finally respectable.

It looks like they're ultimately going to be putting some kind of subscription access into effect. For now, though, online access is free.

National Catholic Register gets a new owner.

We needed one. The Legionaries are in big trouble, as well they should be.
