There may be redemption in Joss Whedon's fictional world, but there actions/choices also always have consequences.

And that's why we keep coming back for more.

BTW, have you see this? (Warning: contains spoilers)

Now I have. One of the commenters has a similar take to mine, but overall the thread is a much more negative view of the project: "oh, JW is killing off significant/beloved characters again! How tired!" Whereas my view is more: How insightful and realistic. Even though I am as happy as anyone to see a story where "everybody lives!" (apologies for gratuitous Dr. Who ref.)

Oh hey! If you somehow managed to miss it, all 3 acts, together or individually, are now up on hulu.com, with commercials. But you should still totally plan to buy the DVD, which is going to be awesome. Should also be visible to those in EU, UK, Australia, and some Asian nations.

I took my own advice and bought the DVD for myself and for my nephew. It is indeed awesome, not only because it can be viewed on a nice big TV screen while sitting comfortably in an easy chair instead of on a bitty computer screen, but also because it includes a complete SECOND musical "Commentary!" ("Better than Neil," "Nobody's Asian," "Pick it apart," and much more) as well as a regular commentary track, several featurettes, and some easter eggs I haven't even tried to find yet.

I'm sorry, but it stll ends the same way.

A mad genius has recreated Dr. Horrible's first act as a Nintendo-style 8-bit videogame.

More info here.

That was extremely enjoyable.

Thanks, opus.
