I think Darren would be more suited to giving great insight into the Brakhage, and I can certainly push myself for more Bergman. That is, if Darren thinks he can get hold of copies sometime soon...

Who took The Cyclist?

Yeah, I'll give Brakhage a shot. I already have the original Criterion DVDs, but I just ordered the new set, which includes twice as many films, all of them hi-def.

Leary did The Cyclist.

And now we await the completion of the last five blurbs and the site will be done.

You can be sure that we'll make a to-do about the day we're ready to announce that the site is complete.

That is perhaps the first time I've read something that really made me interested in Blu-ray.

And for whatever reason Thom had in mind for me to blurb Cries and Whispers, it is similarly a dream come true for me to see this person blurb this.

I'm working on By Brakhage. I promise. But writing an introduction to 56 films by the most important avant-garde filmmaker of all time for a reader who may have never seen an a-g film is proving to be both really fun and really hard.

OK, Darren. There are just three outstanding blurbs so you can imagine how I can "taste" the conclusion of this project!
