Please excuse a little bragging, but I'm proud of my brother's work. If you have a few minutes and want to see some excellent bird photography of both common and obscure species(mainly done in Northern Virginia and Southern California), scoot on over here: http://www.goldfeatherphoto.com/

Andrew, these are so lovely! Your post is so timely; I noticed it last night right after submitting some of my mother's photos to Birds and Blooms magazine. I'm happy to recognize so many varieties due to her bird obsession, but it's especially fascinating to see the ones that don't make it into my neck of the woods. Thanks for sharing.

I'm especially taken by the one of the tree swallow perched on a rail and looking toward the sky.

Andrew, I loved the pictures of the LCAA, also, having grown up in Loudoun County myself they brought back some memories... :D

I'm glad you both found things to enjoy at my brother's website. Thanks!
