If I'm reading the directions right, I couldn't "check out" the poll (e.g. to look at what movies I might want to watch before completing the poll) and then come back to complete it later. If that is the case, is there a list of all of the nominated films that we could post here? There's the list of seconded movies in the nomination thread, but I wasn't sure if that was all up to date.

I just want to encourage everyone who will be voting to make every effort to see as many of the nominated films as possible. Obviously, we're all going to be busy enjoying the holidays over the next two weeks, but many of these films are easily accessible in the States via Netflix streaming. I've just queued up 10 or 15 more and plan to watch as many as possible.

Yes, 1986. That's weird - not sure how the 1952 got there. It was wrong on the poll too. Now fixed.

FYI: You've grandfathered in The House is Black, which is a short film -- only 20 minutes long -- and the anthology By Brakhage, which also only contains short films, I believe.

I was looking through the nominations list and I could not see who seconded the nominations of Times and Winds by JO or of Frankenstein by Ryan H. Maybe I am just not seeing these posts?

I think it's amusing that, after all of that talk of grandfathering in established lists and increasing our focus on classic American cinema, Citizen Kane still wasn't nominated. F for Fake was, but not Kane.
