The gold rod floating next to his shoulder and vaguely directed in the direction of his solar plexis is also a little unsettling.
First rendering of Rm 12:1 & 2 I've seen that is pleasing in design and also doesn't hammer home only part of its point. The Esther piece is fascinating.
