I have several friends who are involved in a low-budget community theatre group called The Colonel Mustard Amateur Attic Theatre Company that has done musical renditions/parodies of various movies and TV shows (e.g., Jurassic Park, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Women). This year, they put on X-Files: The Musical, and it was a huge success. They started out performing in back yards and dinner parties, but this year, they moved to a larger venue, and ended up performing in front of 1,200 people over two nights. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend, but they've been posting clips on YouTube and will be releasing a DVD of the performance. Here's a scene featuring the beloved Lone Gunmen in barbershop quartet form.
