Here's Timeout's list of the Top 100 Horror Films. I wanted to put this in our Top 25 Horror Films thread, but oddly, I cannot find a thread on that.

Our 25 Horror Films list is here. It's in the forum for the last 100 list, so it's kind of hard to find.

Thanks, Tyler. If the moderator (SDG?) wants to move the thread to that area, I'm fine with that.

The 5 Most Unintentionally Gay Horror Movies

I've seen only #5 (the linked description is amusing) and -- gasp! -- #1, which I only remember disliking.

I've seen bits of #2. #1 is legendarily gay--TVTropes links to the AMC Filmsite for a run-down of the subtext and claims that the whole thing was thoroughly intentional on the part of the scriptwriter (though not, apparently, the director). I've not seen it, but it sounds so outrageously campy that I'll have to eventually, if only for the "yep, seen that" points.

I have seen all of them. I kind of think that # 2 was "intentional". Salva made a film where all the primary vicitms are young fit men who take off their shirts? If Salva was not a convicted Pederast, it would not come off quite as creepy. But that knowledge makes it hard for me to believe Jeepers Creepers two was just reversing a horror movie trope (girls stay fully clothed in the film). Salva's film Powder was one I really liked until it was pointed out how the films "outsider" message actually plays heavily into the victimhood psychology of pederasts and pedophiles.
