I think it's really odd that Far from Heaven has gotten four nay votes.

I'm hoping that's because many of us have seen it and were around for the original board discussions a few years ago. I really like it (and it would be good to use as a discussion film because I own the DVD and so would be less work for me ).

Anyone have any suggestions as to how long we want to keep this poll open and when we'd want to start a discussion? Looks like Safe is a sure bet.

How quickly can everyone get their hands on a copy of Safe? Depending on that, we could kick off discussion maybe late next week. Or we could wait until after Easter. Whatever y'all want is fine by me.

If anyone would like to shepherd the actual discussion, step right up.

Whatever everyone else wants to do is fine by me. Are we following the same format we've used for previous discussions—opening a thread to post our initial thoughts and then starting the discussion a few days later? If you want, I can open a thread, say, Thursday or Friday.
