The Arts & Faith Ecumenical Jury — 2019

Each years the Arts & Faith group curates a group of 10 films they would recommend for Christian audiences. The reasons a film is recommended can vary widely. This list has been reconstructed six years after its inception. As a member who is still fairly new to the group, I admire this list of ten films. Only one of these, Parasite, became an awards darling. The rest are all worthy films that found niche audiences but never reached widespread acclaim. Follow each linked title to read a juror’s appreciation. One of the joys of being part of this group is in the unique insights the members bring to the table and the sometimes surprising wellsprings of treasure they bring to light. — Lindsey Dunn
