  3. I cannot watch everything, so I rely on ratings from others. In this case, I prefer the 1- to 4-star rating or lists of recommended films, and preferably from professional reviewers. I read the written reviews if it's an often-mentioned film. Side note: it's similar for TV shows, radio plays, etc. In general, the star ratings in IMDB are helpful and the same in fan sites for certain shows.
