    The Yellow Birds

    Link to our thread for the novel. Screen Daily reports that the film adaptation of The Yellow Birds will be directed by David Lowery (Ain't Them Bodies Saints) and star Tye Sheridan, Will Poulter, and Benedict Cumberbatch. I liked Saints quite a bit, so this is intriguing. For those who have read the novel, is it more contemplative, which would fit Lowery's style, or more of a typical war story?
