I don't have the list, but I bet one of you esteemed critics does. CNN's British guy was saying this morning that LotR did quite well and that BAFTA is now considered something of a predictor for the Oscars, so...?

Yay!

Yawn.

Supporting Actor: Bill Nighy, Love Actually

Oh, nice choice! Hadn't thought of that, but he's a treat.

Original Screenplay: The Station Agent

Yes!!! There's an unexpected call. Good on 'em.

Adapted Screenplay: The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

Groovy.

(Not that I care about awards. But any chance to cheer for my faves...)

Beth

My sincere apologies for not posting the winners up. I meant to but have been a bit too busy. All the papers seemed to care was for Scarlett Johnson's look for the evening (bleached blond and compared to Munroe)

Not surprising that LOTR did well, and also how it did well - i.e. no best directors or actors prize, but its most significant win was for the screenplay, which was British written. (Yeah the BAFTAs are a bit like that)

I was not at all in favour of either winner of Best supporting actor/actress. Both totally over acted 2D Cartoon characatures IMHO.

Bu then I have issues with the BAFTAs and the OSCARs as they both seem to be primarily about scoring points off the other.

No problem, Matt. I came across the info and had the time. I was just surprised that li'l ol' me came up with it first  Obsession with celebrity fashion do's & don'ts is not limited to the UK, as I'm sure you know!
