: Which After Life ?

Presumably the Japanese film of that name. At least, that's what I assumed I was voting for.

: What is "Life & Passion of Christ"? The 1898 short? The 1905 short?

The 1905 Path

The dates or directors for most of the films where there may have been confusion were provided in the original list of nominees, so I've posted that on the Eligible Films thread for reference.

And it's really not an issue that the early Life Of Christ film is shorter than movies are today, nor that The Dekalog is ten hours long. They're Spiritually Significant films, that's what matters.

Process question: You list the discussion ending Friday with voting over the next week. Surely we can continue to lobby (I mean discuss) while the polls are open -- as long as we are more than 100' from Ron's computer.

That would be fine with me. I guess I figured that maybe people would delay sending in their votes if the discussion was still lively, but I also guess that doesn't matter. Discuss away!

Just stay away from my computer....

Yes, the 1996 two-part TV-movie directed by Roger Young.

I assumed the 1975 TV movie with Burt Lancaster.

I believe Ron's original e-mail specified the year.

FWIW, the Burt Lancaster film called Moses was condensed from a much longer mini-series called Moses the Lawgiver, produced and co-written by the same people who made Jesus of Nazareth and A.D. Anno Domini (though all three productions had different directors).
