Suggestion for Book Discussion

Recommended Posts

I am part of a Facebook group where we discuss radical theology. We are looking for novels with themes of doubt, redemption, etc. to discuss in Google hangouts.

This should be good summer reading, not too long, but with good storytelling.

I enjoyed Scott Cheshire's As High As The Horse's Bridle

This is a bit out there, but I remember being pleasantly surprised the further I got into Sean Chercover's The Trinity Game. It is probably closer on the spectrum to Dan Brown than Graham Green, but not by much.

I may suggest Crime and Punishment, which I am reading now and thoroughly enjoying.

For a classic novel, it moves at such a nice pace, thanks in part to the exciting plot-oriented story dostoyevsky writes and meshes with his brilliant characters and themes
