The Screen Actors Guild nominees:

  • Maria Bakalova (“Borat Subsequent Moviefilm”)
  • Glenn Close (“Hillbilly Elegy”)
  • Olivia Colman (“The Father”)
  • Youn Yuh-Jung (“Minari”)
  • Helena Zengel (“News of the World”)

Close's character is based on someone from real life, but not a famous someone. That might make this the only SAG category this year in which *none* of the actors are nominated for playing a celebrity or similar famous person. (I guess it depends on what sort of public figure you think Herman J. Mankiewicz -- played by Mank's Gary Oldman in the best actor category -- was.)

The winner will be announced April 4.

Note: the one difference between the Oscars and SAG is that the Oscars nominated Amanda Seyfried for Mank instead of Helena Zengel for News of the World.
