Nick Alexander Report post Posted October 21, 2005 I recently was participating and reading a topic on the forum, and someone wrote, and nearly his whole post was covered with black bars. What is this?Sara←Hi Sara,I was that person. It's spoiler text. It's so that people who do not want to know how a film ends can skim over the text without having the ending spoiled for them. Meanwhile, if others want to read that text, they "swipe" it with their cursor, and they can read the text.To create a black bar, type "[" then the word "spoiler" then the second "]". To end the spoiler text, type "[" then a "/" then "spoiler then "]".Peace!Nick

finnegan Report post Posted October 21, 2005 Please God, no one use marquee! Please, please, please!←Ditto! There's already too many emoticons in this forum. The last thing we need is scrolling marquees.Alan, I just looked at the BB code help, and noticed that in the "we show" collumn, the spoiler blackout doesn't work. Wierd.
