I love the idea of this film far better than the trailer. From the biographies I have read, this film seems a bit... fictional. Is that incorrect? There was a great shift in his work toward romanticized nudes toward the end, but I am having trouble locating this.

Would make a killer Dr. Who episode though.

"...the vivid crossing of borders between film and theology may save the film from the banality of cinema and festival business, and it may also save the church from the deep sleep of the habitual and the always known."

(Hans Werner Dannowski)
